Our services

Equitas Title provides title search and examination, title insurance, escrow, closing coordination, and settlement services for real estate transactions in Florida. Requesting a title order through this website starts a conversation with our team. A file is opened only after we receive the information we need and confirm the order with you.

Timeframes described on this website, such as when files are opened or closings are scheduled, are typical goals and are not guarantees. Each transaction depends on the parties, lenders, public records, and other factors outside our control.

Title insurance coverage

Title insurance policies are issued by Equitas Title as an agent for a licensed title insurance underwriter. Coverage is determined only by the title commitment and the policy issued for your transaction, including their exceptions, exclusions, and conditions. Descriptions of title insurance on this website are summaries and do not change, add to, or replace the terms of any commitment or policy.

Title insurance premiums in Florida are set by state regulation. Your actual charges will appear on the closing documents for your transaction.

Your choice of provider

Buyers have the right to choose their own title and settlement provider. A seller may not require a buyer to use a particular title company as a condition of sale. Equitas Title does not pay or accept referral fees, kickbacks, or anything of value in exchange for the referral of settlement business.

Wire fraud and funds

Do not send bank account numbers, wiring details, or other sensitive financial information through this website's forms, email, or text messages. Equitas Title is not responsible for funds sent based on instructions that were not verified directly with our office by phone.

SMS Messaging Terms & Conditions

Equitas Title LLC may send non-marketing text messages to individuals who have expressly opted in to receive SMS communications. Messages may include responses to service inquiries, appointment confirmations and reminders, title and escrow updates, document reminders, closing coordination, and other customer service communications concerning a real estate transaction.

Consent to receive SMS

When you voluntarily select an SMS consent checkbox on our website or opt in through another documented method, you authorize Equitas Title LLC to send text messages for the purposes described here. Providing a phone number or submitting a general inquiry, without the required consent, does not by itself enroll you in our SMS program. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies according to your inquiry, appointments, or transaction activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile carrier's plan.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any of our SMS messages to opt out. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. We will not send further messages under that SMS program unless you subsequently opt in again.
